Delete your Glint account
Glint works without an account. An account exists only if you chose to sign in with Google. You can delete it at any time, in the app or by email.
In the app (instant)
- Open Glint and scroll Home to Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and everything listed below is erased right away. If Google asks you to sign in again first, do that and tap Delete account once more.
Without the app
Email soumya@lazycode.ai from the Google address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Glint account". We delete it within 7 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account: the Google sign-in link, your name, email address and user ID.
- Your choice about email from Lazycode, if you made one.
Nothing is kept afterwards. We hold no backups of this data beyond Google Firebase's own short-term recovery window.
What stays
Your lights, rules and settings live on your phone and stay there. Glint never sends notification text, senders or keywords anywhere, with or without an account. Uninstalling Glint removes them from the phone. Usage and crash reports you chose to share stay with Google Analytics and Crashlytics under their own retention rules. While you are signed in they carry a one-way scrambled ID, never your name, email address or account ID; turn them off under Help improve Glint.
